Test Server identification / Organization identification

This type of certificate has two functions.

An organizational identification is an e-identification used to identify which organization is connecting to a specific e-service. It can be used to connect to several different types of services provided by various service owners (relying parties), such as government agencies.

A server identification can be used to identify a specific server, confirming that the machine is who it claims to be.

It is a file-based certificate (PKCS#12) that can be installed on a server and enables the establishment of a 256-bit SSL-based encrypted connection with a calling server/client, software signing, and other services. The e-identification is protected by a password consisting of at least 8 alphanumeric characters. The certificate has the function of authentication (auth).

Kontrollera om e-tjänsteägaren har något krav på namn, annars är detta något ni själva väljer. Tänk på att undvika specialtecken samt kommatecken INTE kan inte användas.

E-postadress
Vi rekommenderar att man här anger en funktionsadress istället för en personlig e-postadress, adressen används bland annat för utskick av påminnelsemejl när giltighetstiden för e-legitimation närmar sig sitt slut. Observera att vi i dagsläget inte kan hantera toppdomäner som har mer än 3 tecken, exempelvis .bank eller .tech

CSR: Certificate Signing Request
Vi rekommenderar att man endast beställer med CSR om man vet hur detta fungerar och hur man själv skapar både CSR och .p12-fil. CSR skall skapas med nyckellängd 2048bit och SHA 256

Check whether the e-service owner has any specific naming requirements; otherwise, you can choose the name yourselves. Please note that special characters should be avoided and that commas cannot be used.

Email address
We recommend that you enter a functional address here instead of a personal email address, the address is used, among other things, to send reminder emails when the e-identification is approaching its expiry date. Please note that we currently cannot support top-level domains with more than 3 characters, such as .bank or .tech

CSR: Certificate Signing Request
We recommend ordering with a CSR only if you understand how this works and how to create both a CSR and a .p12 file. CSR must be created with key length 2048bit and SHA 256.
