Svenska Kraftnät

Ediel is a system for electronic information exchange. All actors in the electricity market use Ediel to communicate in a standardized way. It is used, for example, to report measurement and trade values or to inform about electricity users switching suppliers.

To use Ediel, an agreement must be signed with Svenska kraftnät. The Ediel agreement is also used by actors in the Swedish natural gas market. A company active in both the electricity and natural gas markets only needs to sign one Ediel agreement (for either the electricity or natural gas market).
