EMCS, Excise Movement and Control System

The Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS) is an electronic system used for transporting untaxed alcohol, tobacco, and certain energy products to an authorized recipient in another EU country (and for export to non-EU countries). Server identification / Organizational identification

In the EMCS e-service, users authenticate using an electronic ID. This can either be a personal eID or an organizational eID. An organizational eID, which can be used in EMCS, is also referred to as a non-personal organization certificate or server certificate. Currently, these are only issued by Expisoft.
